Product Description:
Plate and frame filter press is a machine used in chemical
dehydration. It has the advantages of large filtration driving
force, high solid content of the filter cake, clear filtrate, high
solid recovery rate, and low consumption of conditioning drugs. It
is widely used in some sewage plants.
Dehydration Process:
The plates and frames are arranged alternately. Both sides of the
filter plate are covered with filter cloth. The plates and frames
are pressed tightly with a pressing device, that is, a filter press
chamber is formed between the plates and frames. There is a small
hole in the same position in the middle of the upper end of the
plate and frame. After being compressed, it becomes a channel. The
sludge pressurized to 0.2~0.4MPa enters the filter press chamber
through this channel. The surface of the filter plate is carved
with grooves. The lower end There are holes drilled for the
filtrate to be discharged. The filtrate is discharged from the
filter through the filter cloth and along the grooves and holes
under pressure to dehydrate the sludge. The plate and frame filter
press can withstand higher sludge specific resistance than the
vacuum filter, which can reduce the consumption of conditioner. The
moisture content of the mud cake can generally be 75%-80%.
Work Process:
1. Feeding stage: This is the beginning of the work of the plate
and frame filter press. The material is transported to the feed
port of the plate and frame filter press through a feed pump or
pipeline and enters the filter chamber between the filter plates.
2. Filtration stage: After feeding, the plate and frame filter
press uses pressure to separate liquid and solid. This stage mainly
separates solid particles from liquid through filter cloth.
3. Pressing stage: By applying greater pressure, the solid
particles on the surface of the filter cloth are squeezed out and
the filtering capacity of the filter cloth is restored.
4. Washing stage: Wash the filter cake by injecting washing water
into the filter chamber. The purpose is to remove residual liquid
and pollutants in the filter cake and improve the quality of the
filter cake.
5. Unloading stage: After the washing is completed, the filter
plate in the filter chamber of the plate and frame filter press
begins to open, and the filtered cake is discharged from the filter
chamber.
